This is an illustration of the maxim that the dress must fit the woman wearing it. We're not talking about technical fit; we're talking about, for lack of a better term, "persona fit." If Gwyneth Paltrow wore this dress she would look ridiculous. If almost anyone else wore this dress, they would look ridiculous. But on J Lo? Perfect. It's entirely "her." Lots of skin, lots of bling, jewelry that looks like she bought it off a stand on Canal Street. You don't get much more J Lo than that. Even the 1968 prom hair works. Say what you will about her, but she knows her image and she knows what works for her. IN.
