It's important!

We're behind the curve on this one but we keep getting so many emails about it and we wanted to take a break before we go all in on the Project Runway craziness, so here it is: Michelle Obama dressing like every other woman her age on vacation with her kids in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.

The media, because they haven't completely destroyed their own reputation in the eyes of the American people yet, have spent days and meters of column inches discussing whether or not this is "appropriate" for a First Lady. Seriously, the Today Show devotes almost 5 full minutes to the discussion:

No, they're not a great-looking pair of shorts, nor are they all that flattering, but SHE'S A MOM ON VACATION WITH HER KIDS IN 100+ DEGREE WEATHER, PEOPLE. Get a grip. The media's acting like she showed up at a state dinner in this getup.

Thankfully, there's so little else to report on in this unprecedented time of peace and prosperity and unity that the media can devote all their resources to this pressing issue.
