TFS: Team Johnny

Stop! Hammer time!

Laura, Johnny, Markus, Haven, Reco. Together, they make shitty pants!

He seems like a sweet guy and maybe he's a decent designer (the LBD was cute), but what kind of crack do you have to be smoking to think of harem pants as a "must have?"

Credit to Reco for calling it like it is.
"The harem pants. Whatever. That's couture for hammer pants."

Oh, we like this one, kittens.

"I'm not that good at sewing. I'm great at the design part, but no, I can't stand the sewing."

Then WHAT. ARE. YOU. DOING. HERE? We have zero sympathy for anyone who says something like this after 5 seasons of Project Runway.

Reco

God, the lighting on this show is horrible. What's the point in showing us the clothes if the lighting on the runway makes them look like entirely different outfits? Anyway, good job, Reco. The pants are awful but that jacket is pretty fab.

Laura

Ditto. If we could just ignore the bottom half, this is a pretty cool look.

Johnny

This, on the other hand, is just plain awful. Doing a belly shirt just exposes how horrible the pants are. Harem pants almost never work, but doing them in a satin-y material and then designing that gross waistband to top them off? Serious issues. That top only makes it worse. Not just because it's a belly shirt, but because it's so clumsy and unflattering.

Haven

"I sewed the shirt three times because I hated it." Well you should've gone for four, honey. Not that the problem was the execution. Sure, it was A problem, but the real issue is the awful design.

Markus

Okay, remind us again why the loser wasn't chosen from this group? Jonny D's tourniquet skirt was awful and sure, Strawberry Shortcake's design had some issues, but these last 3 entries were by far the worst of the entire bunch. As a design, the top's not terrible, but it's executed so poorly that we can't believe Heather and her backups didn't say something about it. It looks like he pinned it together and just sent it down the runway.
