Here's another entry in the latest editorial trend of using men as eye candy while the women do the modeling: W Magazine's September 2009 issue, photographed by Steven Klein, styled by Camilla Nickerson. This time it's a Total Eclipse of the Heart starring Lara Stone and a bunch of boys shot on location at The Park Avenue Armory in New York.

There's been a little buzz about this trend of using men as backdrops to showcase women's clothing, but it's not like it's anything new. There's just been a recent uptick in the frequency of its usage, probably due to the high number of gay male fashion photographers. Like all trends, it'll die down when everyone gets bored with it. In the mean time, you won't hear us complain.
Oh right. The clothes. They're fab. Dig those Prada boots. Love the '60s English public school drama styling too.
