The Dream Team

Could ANYONE have predicted that these two would not only comprise a dream team but that the general consensus would be that they were robbed of a win? Up is down! Black is white!

We'd already started warming up to Stella, but who knew Jerrell was such a sweetie? It was really cute how he went out of his way to make her feel wanted and needed on his team.

And remember what we said about Stella having the ability to marry her aesthetic to the challenge? Case in point. Granted, she didn't appear to have much input into the actual design, but she saw what was expected of her and stepped right up, producing work that probably wasn't to her taste, but perfect for the look.

"I feel like I really need to listen to what the challenge calls for."

How utterly fucking refreshing. Instead of simply pouting and saying that the judges don't "get" his work, he took the unheard-of position that maybe his work hasn't been as revolutionary as he first thought. Between that and his kindness toward Stella and his maturity as a team leader, we're suddenly rooting for him to take it all the way to the end.

Of course, putting out a killer outfit helps too.

Kittens, we LOVED this look. It wasn't exactly flawless, but it was stylish as hell.

We love the choices of colors and fabrics. They all compliment each other without being too obvious or matchy-match.

And we love the proportions on this thing. It's sexy and it reveals just enough skin while at the same time being both age- and work-appropriate.

Also, it's perfectly accessorized. Based on past work, we never would have predicted that Jerrell had such good taste.

And now the exceptions:

While we said we liked the proportions, we can't get behind that gigantic leather thing around her waist. Don't get us wrong, we like the concept and we love the color of it, but it's really way too big for the rest of it and it makes the top look like it's shoved in there. Probably because it is.

And while part of us agrees with Heidi about the belt - it's a fun and visually interesting addition - we kind of agree with Brooke that it's a bit too much.

"I don't fucking see the fucking problem."

We know, Stella. We just think it's kind of obviously not a Brooke Shields look. Carrie Bradshaw, maybe. But not Brooke.

But kudos to you, Cheroin. You did a kickass job executing that.

We've been blogging the shit out of this show for two years now and have any of these ungrateful designers ever made anything for us? No. We're going to kiss Stella's ass for the next couple of months in the hopes that she forgives us for the nickname and makes us some leather jackets, because that bitch may be limited, but what she does know, she knows well.

We also didn't see the point in the asymmetrical hem. This look could have used some editing. Not nearly as much editing as last week's look from Jerrell, but a little would have gone a long way.

Still, it was a major improvement over last week and we thi-

JERELL! What the FUCK are you WEARING?!
