Suede and Jerell

It's to his credit that Suede didn't assume that the Olympics are a glittering cocktail party.

Unfortunately, he somehow got it into his head that the Olympics are a cheerleading competition.

From a strict design perspective, it's an inoffensive little frock, but we've seen this look from him once already. The basic silhouette and proportions are exactly the same as the dress that won him the "green" challenge.

In the "credit where it's due" department, we can admit that he at least did a good job of choosing colors, something that inexplicably tripped up a lot of designers.

And it's a fairly well-executed design. We like the detail on the back.

It's like there's a continuum of appropriateness for this challenge. On the one end, you have entries like Joe's, Korto's and Terri's. On the other end, you have Jennifer and Jerell and Daniel. This entry falls somewhere in the middle. It's ever so slightly sporty and it's rendered in the correct colors, but it just doesn't hit the mark.

And speaking of the low end of the continuum...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!! The hat! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

HAHAHA!! *gasp* HAHAHAHAHA!! Forty different fabrics! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!! Pencil skirt on an Olympic athlete! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Leggings! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Little Bo Peep!!! Oh, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

This concludes our critique of Jerell's outfit.

Here's what the judges had to say:

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!"

We concur.
