Congratulations, Princess!

Every year, Out magazine presents a list of the 100 gay men and women who moved culture over the past year. Christian Siriano is one of them. Congratulations, Princess!

" Deemed "his generation's Marc Jacobs" by style mentor Tim Gunn, Project Runway's 22-year-old season four winner paraded out of fashion's confines in 2008 to become a veritable pop culture darling. Siriano's caricature-like persona helped him launch two of this year's most inescapable catchphrases and landed him a cameo on Ugly Betty, with more TV appearances coming this winter. Yet the young New York City threadster doesn't fear his celebrity will eclipse his sartorial talent. "I don't think it's hindered me at all," says Siriano. "It's made my career even better."

Indeed, his flair for couture has the A-listers calling: Siriano dressed Whoopi Goldberg for the Tonys, Heidi Klum for the Emmys, and Pink for the MTV Video Music Awards. He has collaborated with Puma, Victoria's Secret, and LG Mobile Phones; is designing a maternity collection for Moody Mamas and costumes for Uma Thurman's upcoming film Eloise in Paris; and will publish his fashion and beauty guide next year. The working title:
How to Be Fierce, of course."
