Ripping the PR Philippines Collections: Philipp Tampus

The judges classified Tampus as "The Romantic Designer" and that's as apt a description as you can come up with. His mother apparently does crochet and you can see that influence all over his work. Watch the runway video here.

Some nice details on this one. Love the layered hem but the silhouette ain't all that.


This is really pretty. Kind of Marchesa-y, but still very pretty and feminine.

We're starting to become anemic from the lack of color, though.


If she was green, Kirk would totally do her.


Wow. You can practically hear the "clunk." Ugly and TERRIBLY unflattering on the model.


Interesting. It looks like it could have been executed a bit better and we would have loved to see it in ANY color. The detailing on the bust is nice.


Also interesting but it suffers from having too many details a la Jerell. The flash of lace is sexy and fun and we like the bust, but that awful belt ruins it.


Definitely interesting, but again, the tummy cutout just isn't very flattering.


Very nice. Normally all that askew twistiness would annoy us but the proportions are just right so it works.

Color. PLEASE.
