Victoria Beckham Fall 2009

Posh recently showed off her latest collection of looks, which might as well been called "The Inside of My Closet." Style.com was there:

"The fits-like-a-glove sheath made a reappearance, this time in soft gray cashmere with little cap sleeves. New to the mix were short day dresses in black stretch wool felt, above-the-knee cocktail numbers in gold tinsel bouclé, and gowns in crepe or matte sequins with elegant trains. (Capes in felt or silk gazar were also a new category for Beckham, but they didn't quite have the need-it-now quality of her frocks.)"

Well, her friendship with Roland Mouret has certainly helped her "design" career, hasn't it? To say she's "inspired" by his work would be a bit of an understatement. Still, we mostly like the collection. Posh is selling one brand and that's herself. It makes sense that a line of her clothing looks like nothing more than her unpacking her suitcase and having a runway show to celebrate. We like the dramatic, Crawford-esque gowns as well as some of the little shift dresses, especially the gold one. The short, shiny jackets with the big bows look a little chip in a chip way.

ENOUGH with the exposed zippers. It was interesting for about 4 and a half minutes.

Speaking of Posh, let's continue judging her. Here she is leaving "La Risacca" restaurant in Milan, Italy wearing Alexander McQueen Resort 2009 and Miu Miu whipstitch pumps.

She looks great. It's a killer dress and a killer set of heels. You really can't go wrong with that.
