As a lot of you know, we had the pleasure and privilege of spending a couple hours at the Bennett-Shelton residence before the finale party. What we might not have mentioned is that we also had the pleasure of stopping by the next morning for coffee and dish. It's amazing how once the kids are off to school that place about triples in size.

At any rate, we'll be talking about our visits next week, but we thought we'd share something that really deserves its own post. Laura loves Robert Best and said so several times. She was raving about his sketches and how gorgeous they are when she remembered something. She went to her files and pulled this out:



It's a sketch of Laura that Robert did. How flipping fabulous is that? We of course immediately begged her for a scan so we could show it to you guys and without a second thought she went over to her scanner and printed this out for us. This is a scan of a scan of an original that was drawn on pattern paper, so it honestly doesn't do the sketch justice.
