Malan Breton Fall 2009 Collection

Darlings, Malan showed his Fall collection this past week and while we couldn't make it in to see the show, we of course have the goods and the opinions to go with them.




Let's start the show:



















This is a bit of a welcome departure for Malan. He's not relying simply on old school glamour. There's a real sense of artistry and maturity to this collection. It has a somewhat somber tone (like a lot of fashion at the moment) and it offers up some truly interesting looks. We don't love each and every piece, but taken as a whole, we really respond well to the collection. Bravo, M. Breton.
