Project Kayne

Go Kaynebow! Kayne Gillaspie is supposedly getting his own show on the TLC network, called “Kayne’s World,” a "docu-soap" detailing his pageant and dogwear business. Seriously, he's got a line for dogs called "Kayne9" (cute) coming up.

How fabulous! If there's one person from PR who should have gotten more attention out of it, it's Kaynebow, who is genetically programmed for reality television. We really hopes this happens for him because it would be incredibly entertaining.

From Music City TV:

“So I sent ‘em a videotape of like, all day long, like doggy fittings, a bridal fitting, a pageant fitting, a customer coming for a social event dress. All of that was one day. And sent it in, and they edited it and showed it to the execs,” Kayne told me.

They must’ve liked what they saw because a 13-person production crew is heading to Kayne’s home studio May 13-17 to shoot a pilot. But don’t call it a reality show.

“It’s not really gonna be a reality show. It’s a docu-soap… A documentary soap opera, but I don’t know what that means. Or what it entails,” he said.

“So it’s gonna be a fun ride for myself as well.”
