TFS: Congrats and Bye-bye

Okay bitches, we've got a train to catch so let's get this party started quickly, right? Here we go.

We think this is exactly what the show should be doing every episode: treating the contestants like junior designers.

Get Mizrahi off the co-hosting gig and make him the senior designer who has to present an inspiration board every week and yell at the designers as they struggle to realize his vision. It'd be more interesting than this season, that's for sure.

And who knew? She was a shitty co-host on Tim's show but she turned out to be a very good judge.

So, congrats to Anna and Haven!

It was cute and stylish, very retail, with a little bit of an edge. They translated the hell out of it for sale, but it's not bad-looking except for maybe the waist.

How refreshing to see two designers quietly go about their business and turning out a great look. Also, how boring.

As for these two...
It just had disaster written all over it from the start. Two people who are so vague about their inspirations and choices, simply aren't going to be able to collaborate well.

And let's face it:

This was just awful.

If we try really hard and ignore that the two pieces owe nothing to each other; that the silhouette is atrocious; that the colors are so ugly...

We still can't get over that big, gold...thing stapled to the front of the garment.

That's just indefensible as far as we're concerned. Much like her really bad pubic hair dress of a couple weeks back, we don't know how Lidia can be working on a garment like this and NOT see the mistake she's making. Poor girl just can't course-correct.
