TFS: The Rest

Alright, let's get this thing wrapped up.

It's Dior-ish. It would have been a pretty great look if it had been executed better.

And maybe if she had come up with a different pair of pants. Those look cheap and they fit terribly.

But the jacket is pretty fab, from a design point of view.

We liked the collar...

...and the multiple peplums. It's just a shame it all looks so sloppy and half-assed.

Chicken Diva did such a good job with his Madame Grès-inspired dress that we half suspect producer input.

He said he had no idea who she was and yet he produced a look that he at least had a pretty good chance of defending if he had to.

She was known for intricately draped evening gowns and well, that's what this is. Either he was exaggerating when he said he'd never heard of her or someone took him aside and gave him the skinny. Maybe it was one of his fellow designers, but whatever the case, Chicken pulled it out.

We love the colors on this.

And the mixing of a classic toga with some modern twists.

It's ultimately a little dull, so we're not suggesting he should have won it or anything, but he deserves credit for putting out such a good try.

We honestly thought James Paul should have won it for that blouse alone.

We'll say this right off: both the skirt and the styling on this look are awful.

Maybe that's why this didn't get higher points from the crowd because that blouse is absolutely gorgeous.

Sometimes James Paul gets a little too wrapped up in his concepts for his own good but then he'll turn around and whip out a classic blouse with some beautiful and interesting construction to it and you can see that when he gets it figured out, he can do some amazing stuff.
